3 Sigma Corp. Mourns the Passing of Grant L. Beck

Press release from the issuing company

Troy, Ohio, USA - 3 Sigma Corp is saddened to report the passing of Grant L. Beck, our owner and friend since 1998. Grant was a long time leader and entrepreneur in the label and printing industry. He started his first company, Beck Equipment & Supply Inc. at the age of 20. He also worked for Avery Dennison Fasson for 11 years in Sales and Management on the West Coast. His entrepreneurial career continued with the acquisition of Baseline Industries in 1980 and from there his ownership portfolio expanded to include many other companies in addition to 3 Sigma.

Grant was a hands-on owner, active in the management, planning, and strategic direction of his companies. He was a both a strong advocate of his employees and a loyal friend and partner to his customers. He and his family made their management teams and associates feel very much a part of their family as well. Grant will be sorely missed by many in this industry and even more by those that had the opportunity to work closely with him on a day-to-day basis. Our condolences go out to his family and also to all of his friends in the printing and label world.

Since 1980, 3 Sigma has been a fast-growing, resourceful innovator of specialty pressure sensitive adhesive coated products. 3 Sigma offers expertise in solvent, emulsion, and hot melt technologies to provide the optimum solution for any label need. Quality teams monitor and inspect material throughout the manufacturing process according to ISO 9001:2008 guidelines to ensure that 3 Sigma customers receive the best label stock available.
