Vivid’s Matrix Laminator gains new fan base in America

Press release from the issuing company

LEICESTERSHIRE, ENGLAND – Vivid’s Matrix Laminating System has won a Top Product Award, voted for by readers of Quick Printing Magazine.

Bruce Cozens, Vivid’s Export Manager said: “We are delighted to receive this award. Having exhibited 4 times in America shows both the recognition that Vivid as a company and the Matrix now have within the U.S. print industry.”

Bruce officially received the award (click for video) at the recent Graph Expo show in Chicago where Vivid were exhibiting the Matrix range of laminating systems, alongside their Easymount wide format range. Other notable award winners included EFI, Ricoh, Xerox, HP and Morgana.

The Matrix is ideal for short-to-medium print runs including business cards, book covers and menus, with a quick and simple set-up. It saves both time and money by laminating in-house, meaning the customer gets the printed job finished and delivered back faster, with a greater return on profit.

The Matrix Systems can also be used to create foil and spot UV-style effects as well as give holographic finishes to bespoke prints, using Vivid’s Boss premium range of finishing films & foils.

Flatbook

Vivid’s new patented Flatbook technology also works in synchronization with the Matrix Systems. It cuts out a channel of film as it laminates, avoiding cover curl on Perfect & PUR Bound book covers. With these options, the Matrix is now a truly modular system, helping to give a fast return on investment and using just one system for many different applications.

Connecticut-based DataBind are the official reseller of the Matrix Laminating Systems in the U.S.
