Direct Color Systems introduces the Direct Jet 7200z UV LED Printer

Rocky Hill, CT USA - The 7200z is the next Direct Jet UV LED printer release in a long line of globally popular models from Direct Color Systems.

The 7200z printer is not only the largest and most versatile printer released by Direct Color Systems, but it also represents the next level of innovation from the company. Known for pushing the industry forward, Direct Color Systems has brought to market advanced UV LED printing features and applications like the patent pending ADA/Braille signage printing process, cylindrical and conical printing with the EasyCyl, a complete white ink circulation system, TEXTUR3DTM and many more. These and many more are available on the 7200z.

Designed for Automation & Enhanced Throughput

  • Max print speeds up to 29.7m2/hr // 320 ft2/hr
  • Printable area: up to 600mm x 1,200mm // 23.8" x 48.0" (24” can be achieved in certain circumstances)
  • Automated and continuous printing available with the Pallet Shuttle System
  • Vacuum table option available
  • Automated URL design, eCommerce, & download to RIP option
  • Two individually controlled, air-cooled, UV LED lamps and 10 ink channels (C, M, Y, K, CI, CI, Wh, Wh, Wh, Wh) combine to enhance print speed
  • Mobile touch screen pendants allow users to operate printer from multiple points

On Display at SGIA

The 7200z printer will make its first public display at booth #4427 during the 2015 SGIA Expo in Atlanta, GA from November 4- 6, 2015.


The 7200z is scheduled to begin shipments beginning in December 2015.
