NPES Elects New Board Chairman and Directors at Annual Conference and PRIMIR Fall Meeting

Reston, VANPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies elected a new chairman, three new directors and re-elected several returning directors during its business meeting on October 28 at the NPES 2015 Annual Conference and PRIMIR Fall Meeting in Palm Beach, Florida.

Malkon "Mal" Baboyian, Executive Vice President, Production Printing Solutions/Large Format Solutions, Canon Solutions America, was elected chairman at the business meeting during the annual conference.

Three new directors were also elected to the NPES Board for a two-year term expiring at the 2018 Annual Meeting:

  • Steve Mattingly, Senior Vice President, Southern Lithoplate Inc.
  • Steve Metcalf, President & CEO, Air Motion Systems, Inc., and
  • Greg Salzman, President, Aleyant.

"The NPES Board focuses on the strategy and direction for the premier association representing graphic communications industry suppliers," explained Ralph J. Nappi, president of NPES. "The contribution of these new directors, as well as our returning directors, will ensure that NPES serves our industry in an innovative and responsive way for years to come."

Other directors re-elected to the board were:

  • Gavin Jordan-Smith, Vice President, Solutions and Production, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.
  • Mark Kannenberg, President, RBP Chemical Technology, Inc.
  • Eric Midlik, Executive Vice President, Global Sales, Prime UV Systems Inc.
  • Andy Rae, Senior Vice President Equipment, Heidelberg U.S.A.
  • Ron Rose, President, Nova Pressroom Products, LLC, and
  • Gina Testa, Vice President, Marketing, Xerox Corporation.

Additionally, NPES board member newly elected to the Executive Committee and to serve as Treasurer was Mark Hischar, President & CEO, KBA-North America.
