House Estudios Durero Chooses KPG Matchprint Virtual Monitor Proofing

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA: Spanish prepress house – Estudios Durero, Bilbao – has placed an order for three Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) Matchprint Virtual Proofing and Color Fidelity Systems for installation at its own site, at an advertising agency and a last one at a final customer. The installations will link critical stages of approval cycles and will provide an inclusive communications network. Stéphane Lievain, KPG vice president Europe, comments on the order : “Estudios Durero is a visionary company and – with this order – is demonstrating how print communications is evolving. They are creating a truly digital environment involving both initial and end customers.” Estudios Durero plans to transition these three Matchprint Virtual Proofing Systems to Matchprint Virtual Proofing LCD Systems shown at drupa for the first time and eventually to extend their use of monitor proofing in the future to include a Matchprint Virtual Press Side Proofing System for installation at the company´s printers. “This first installation in Bilbao and the partnership with a customer of the characteristics of Estudios Durero allow us to be very confident to implement our remote proofing solutions as a standard for our market. It will create new opportunities of business for both companies and represents one more step to a total digital printing circle,” said Thierry Gasnier, SBU Manager for Spain and Portugal.
