Press release from the issuing company

SCHAUMBURG, IL - Sakurai USA, Inc. celebrated its 25th anniversary as a US corporation with a highly successful Technology Showcase Open House at its US Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois on October 7-8, 2015.  The 2-day event focused on screen press and screenprinting technology and was attended by over 100 customers, guests and industry partners resulting in sales over $1.5 million.

The Open House event showcased Sakurai cylinder screen presses running specialty finishing applications over offset printed material in-line with Natgraph UV Drying Systems.

“Specialty Finishing is a major area of interest and Sakurai is well-equipped to respond to the marketplace with our full line-up of cylinder screen presses and relationship with industry partner, Natgraph and their superior drying technology,” said David Rose, General Manager, Sakurai USA, Inc. “The Sakurai cylinder screen press and Natgraph energy efficient dryers present an ideal combination system when looking to achieve high productivity at the lowest cost per manufactured piece”.

One of the highlights of our Open House was Sakurai/Baldwin’s LED Curing Technology. “There’s a lot of buzz in the industry about LED and Sakurai has a very good product as demonstrated behind our MS-80A cylinder screen press.  If an end user is looking at LED, Sakurai has a product and a solution,” Rose added.
