Press release from the issuing company

Acquisition will provide greater level of support to existing customer base and increase innovation of new applications

San Francisco – Sepialine, a leader in the print management software industry, announced today that they have finalized an agreement to acquire software company Technesis. The agreement will enable Sepialine to increase innovation of their product line, and provide Technesis customers with new functionality and continued software support.

“We are excited to bring Technesis into the Sepialine family” said Jeremy Evans, CEO and Co-Founder of Sepialine. “The leadership of Technesis has shown great insight over the years and we are eager to gain access to their knowledge and innovation.”

Paul Collart, President of Technesis, said “We have been exploring strategic options for Technesis for several months, and a primary concern was ensuring a continuing roadmap for our customers. By becoming a part of Sepialine, we can provide our users access to incredible software with a great support team.”

Technesis’s product line includes Technesis Print Control System (PCS) and PrintControlOnline. Customers using Technesis PCS will continue to receive technical support as well as priority upgrades to Argos, Sepialine’s flagship cost recovery solution.

PrintControlOnline will be discontinued and customers will be transitioned to Printerpoint, Sepialine’s cloud-based MPS and device management tool.

Collart and other members of the Technesis team will join Sepialine, assisting with development of software solutions, inside sales and vendor relationships. The company will continue to operate under the name Sepialine.

Argos is used by prominent architecture, engineering, design and legal firms to capture and bill project-related document expenses. Customers upgrading from Technesis PCS will see immediate benefits, including expanded manufacturer support, as-printed tracking, secure print release, mobile printing, as well as phone system and 3D printer integration.
