Quark Software Releases El Capitan Update to QuarkXPress 2015

Press release from the issuing company

DENVER, CO – Quark Software Inc. today released the El Capitan Update to QuarkXPress 2015. With the El Capitan Update, QuarkXPress 2015 now officially supports the new OS X 10.11, released by Apple on September 30. The update is Mac-only and free for all current QuarkXPress 2015 users. It can be downloaded using the built-in Auto Updater in QuarkXPress or downloaded here: http://www.quark.com/Support/Downloads/.

In addition to supporting OS X El Capitan, the new update to QuarkXPress addresses known issues and includes an even faster start-up time. Internal tests have shown the El Capitan Update launches in just over five seconds, nearly 60 percent faster than the previous version of QuarkXPress.

Attention QuarkXPress 3-10 Users
Please note that due to the extensive changes in the OS X El Capitan release, Quark does not intend to provide support for running El Capitan on versions of QuarkXPress prior to QuarkXPress 2015. QuarkXPress 3-10 users who plan to migrate to El Capitan should upgrade to QuarkXPress 2015.
