R3 seeks continued growth with new Sales Manager

As part of increased efforts to service the UK and European flexographic packaging print markets, Reproflex3 (R3) have employed the services of new Sales Manager, Mark Nicholson.

Mr Nicholson, a highly experienced sales professional, has joined the North East firm with nearly twenty years’ experience in the product retail sector.

Having previously worked for consumer products company JML, specialising in retail promotions and TV home shopping, Mr Nicholson managed sales teams across his previous employer’s UK and European operations.

Mr Nicholson explains “I had a fantastic career with JML, but I felt the time was time to move on to pastures new and I was looking for a fresh challenge. Luckily this coincided with R3 seeking to grow their sales and marketing team, and I’m delighted to now be part of a great organisation with huge ambition.”

R3’s Managing Director for UK and Europe, Andrew Hewitson, also expressed his delight at securing Mr Nicholson’s services: “Mark brings with him the kind of sales experience any company would benefit from. The position we’re in now, and the direction this business is going in, personnel of this ilk are hugely important and we look forward to a successful road ahead with Mark on board.”

The acquisition comes during a busy year for R3, with the business expanding its services in the UK after opening an additional plate making facility in Bristol during February. This was shortly followed by the introduction of R3 UAE, a division located in Dubai which has enabled the organisation to start servicing the Middle East packaging print market.
