MCT Appoints Dave Newell as its new Service Manager to strengthen its Customer Support Activities

Milwaukee, WI - MCT Digital announces the appointment of Dave Newell as its new Service and Customer Support Manager effective October 1, 2015.  Dave is the latest of the team of employees who previously worked together at MGE, to join MCT to bring, together, the most innovative missing link that breaks the bottleneck in digital finishing to the Grand Format finishing marketplace.   

MCT’s VersaTech™ continues to advance in capability, including its innovative patent pending convertible conveying belt technology that allows for full automation of cutting for rolls and sheet goods, whether laser, router, or knife tools are the best way to finish.

Dave will be joining MCT as Vice President, Digital Finishing Support & Service, assuming responsibility for MCTs team of highly qualified techs and application specialists . He has over 9 years hands on experience in the automated digital finishing equipment industry. His past experience, starting in 2006, at both MGE and Esko has been in increasingly important positions from Technician, to Senior Technician, to Sales Support Specialist and assisting in Business Development. In addition, he has contributed in multiple special assignments related to cutting table R&D, product requirements, specifications and testing and cut to print vision registration and workflow software development and testing. In these positions, Dave has become proficient in all of the roles necessary to help MCT continue to grow and manage its support and service department, to provide superb support to our customers and dealers.

Dave noted, “It is a privilege to join MCT at this point, where I can make a big impact in supporting its rapid growth as the company completes its changeover from U.K manufacturing to complete manufacturing and enhanced engineering in Milwaukee. I look forward to helping current and new customers succeed, and in bringing “field-oriented” improvements to the products as we continue to strengthen and broaden the VersaTech line.”
