Luc Desjardins, President and CEO of Transcontinental Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Isabelle Marcoux to the position of Vice President, Corporate Development. Her duties include responsibility for the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at the head office. Ms. Marcoux has worked at Transcontinental since 1997, first as Director of Legal Affairs, then as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. She continues to be a member of the Corporation's management committee and strategic planning team. Before joining Transcontinental, she worked for three years with an important law firm. Ms. Marcoux has both a BA in economics and political science and a law degree from McGill University. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Barreau du Québec.
