intelliPaper will demonstrate the printing capabilities of the Laser Mail 7000 when printing their swivelCard.
Mississauga, ON, – PSI Engineering will be exhibiting at GRAPH EXPO 15 & CPP EXPO in Booth #156 from September 13-16, 2015 at Chicago, Illinois' McCormick Place. Joining PSI Engineering in the booth will be intelliPaper, founders of the swivelCard. A swivelCard is a smart business card with embedded USB capability and built-in analytics. It comes with optional NFC (near field communication) capability, serialized QR codes, and standard or custom artwork. With on demand variable data/variable image printing, the 5 Color Laser Mail 7000 digitally prints intelliPaper's swivelCard, adding depth, impact and style to their customer's business cards.
"The versatile Laser Mail 7000 supports a wide variety of envelope sizes, and media, including business cards, postcards, glossy stock, labels, banners and standard paper," states John Panunto, President – PSI Engineering. "Our Laser Mail 7000 produces razor sharp, vibrant images using its LED imaging technology delivering an optical resolution of 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi (dots per inch)," continues Mr. Panunto. "With its unique multi-functional printing capabilities and the PSI load and remove on-the-fly Feeder/Stacker, the straight thru paper path allows thick media to print a variety of stocks, including intelliPaper's swivelCard," concludes Mr. Panunto.
PSI Engineering's Laser Mail 7000 is a versatile printing system with a straight-thru print path. It supports media thickness up to 450 gsm and prints a wide variety of envelope sizes from 3" x 5" (7.6 x 12.7 cm) to 13" x 26" (33 x 66 cm) directly from the PSI envelope feeder. Other print media include tabloid extra 12" x 18" (30.5 x 45.7 cm), tabloid 10" x 17" (25.4 x 43.1 cm), legal, letter, executive, index cards and banners up to 13" x 52" (33 x 132 cm). Designed for short-run production, the Laser Mail 7000's load and remove on-the-fly feeder/stacker can load and stack up to 1,000 envelopes or 4,000 sheets of bond paper.
