C.P. Bourg Announces Key Appointments at U.S. Operations

James Tressler and Brian Rutter are appointed Vice-President of Sales and Operations respectively at C.P. Bourg Inc.; Maurice Soucy joins the company as Interim National Technical Manager.

North and South American sales territories are realigned and Regional Solutions Managers named to strengthen customer and partner ties.

New Bedford, Massachusetts, USA - C.P. Bourg, the world's leading developer and supplier of on-demand document binding and finishing equipment today announced several personnel changes at C.P. Bourg, Inc., the company's US headquarters, that are designed to strengthen relationships with customers and partners across North and South America.

Brian Rutter has been named Vice President of Operations, responsible for infrastructure and administration at the company's New Bedford, Massachusetts headquarters facility. Mr. Rutter has been with C.P. Bourg Inc. for 28 years. Prior to this appointment he served as the company's National Technical Manager for more than 20 years.

James Tressler has been named Vice President of Sales, responsible for all C.P. Bourg sales and marketing efforts throughout the Americas, and directly for sales in the southeastern states from Pennsylvania to Florida. Mr. Tressler joined C.P. Bourg Inc. in 1997; most recently he served as the company's North American Director of Marketing and Branch Operations.

Maurice Soucy has joined C.P. Bourg Inc. as Interim National Technical Manager, responsible for customer and dealer/distributor service and support from the company headquarters here. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Soucy for 26 years held a variety of positions at Xerox Corporation in manufacturing and in equipment testing and validation, including for C.P. Bourg products. Mr. Soucy initially will work closely with Brian Rutter to ensure C.P. Bourg customers and partners experience a seamless transition in technical service and support management.

The management appointments of veteran C.P. Bourg employees James Tressler and Brian Rutter plus the addition of Maurice Soucy as National Technical Manager are intended to ensure that C.P. Bourg Inc. will not only retain its leadership position in the Americas, but also add to the increasing success of the company, its customers and its many partners in the future.

Regional Solutions Managers and Product Specialists Named

C.P. Bourg, Inc. also announced changes to its sales operation in the Americas. The company also realigned some sales territories, and added the ability to sell direct as well as through dealers and distributors.

"Each of our Regional Solutions Managers and Product Specialists has been empowered to assist customers by selling C.P. Bourg finishing products directly, or by working with the company's array of strategic partners to design Bourg finishing products as part of broader product and workflow solutions," says James Tressler, Vice President of Sales.

"The Regional Solutions Managers and Product Specialists now can offer customers a wider variety of options -- including who they buy C.P. Bourg products from and where they can obtain service, repair parts, and even financing -- making every engagement with our team full-service and seamless."

The five named Regional Solutions Managers and Product Specialists are: 

  • Donald Schroeder, Executive Regional Solutions Manager, who is responsible for most of Canada and the upper central U.S. states from North Dakota to Nebraska to West Virginia; 
  • Dick Bennett, Western Regional Solutions Manager, whose territory extends north and west from Arizona to Montana to British Columbia and includes Alaska and Hawaii; 
  • Frits Knepper, Regional Solutions Manager for the Southern states from New Mexico to Kentucky and Alabama; and also for South and Central America; 
  • Donald K. Watson, Jr., Product Specialist for New Jersey, metropolitan New York and Long Island; 
  • Paul J. Byrne, Product Specialist for the six New England states.
