Gruppo Cordenons has announced its financial results for the first half of 2015. The results are very encouraging and maintain the dramatic improvements already achieved in 2014.

Gruppo Cordenons is a leading Italian paper manufacturer with two manufacturing sites. It has a long and interesting history going back over 400 years. The company is recognised in the market as a reliable supplier of around 2,500 quality products in the graphic and technical papers sectors.

The key financial results for January – June 2015 (compared to the 2014 financial year results) are:

• Turnover: €43.5 million (4% increase compared to same period in 2014).
• EBITDA: €5.9 million - 13.5% on turnover. (5% increase compared to same period in 2014).

These impressive results have been achieved whilst Gruppo Cordenons has undertaken significant investments to improve the company’s ecological impact on the environment. The investments in 2015 included around €6 million in plant renewal and production technology, €3.5 million of which was directed into improvements in the company’s energy generation and consumption. All the new improvements were delivered to schedule and production recommenced on time after the August maintenance programme.

Gruppo Cordenons has also confirmed its presence at two important trade shows. 

• Visit them on stand J35 at Luxury Packaging 2015, Olympia, London on 16 and 17 September. 
• In addition they will be exhibiting on stand E39 at Luxe Pack Monaco, Grimaldi Forum, Monaco from 21-23 October.

The company’s extensive range of products includes metallised and iridescent papers; textured papers with blended fibres; felt-marked papers; papers with a special touch and feel and cast coated papers.
