Birgit Jemide of Inimap GmbH, distribution partner of Barbieri electronic, draw my attention to the SpectroPad.” Explains Manuel. “We followed her suggestion and invested in this equipment. It paid off immediately!“ What Manuel likes most, is the fact the operator can perform accurate process control directly on the printer. “Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi connection as well as long-lasting battery the SpectroPad is portable, which is fundamental in a production area of around 2.000 sqm. Handling is blindingly easy which is important for a quality control tool as it can be used easily and quickly to check actual color output,” explains Manuel excited. “We at Picanova receive digital images from innumerable customers. There some variations during conversation from RGB into CMYK can happen easily, which customers do not accept. Moreover, we print not just on paper and foils, but also on various different, sometimes very expensive substrates such as acryl glass. There a continuous quality control is necessary in order to not to waste material, ink, time and money. At the end, deliver high quality products at a fair price ensures satisfied customers and continuous business, and Barbieri helps us on this."
