Press release from the issuing company

Copresco Company President and CEO Steve Johnson has won an APEX Award for Publication Excellence from Communications Concepts, Inc.

Johnson was honored for the “Johnson’s World” column he writes for Quick Printing magazine. The monthly feature serves as a forum for his insights of the rapidly changing communication arts industry.

“Steve's ‘Johnson's World’ column has been a mainstay of Quick Printing magazine,” said editor Mark Vruno. “Thousands of our readers look forward to his monthly, real-world insights about running a printing business–which he presents in a refreshing style, as only Steve can! And it's always easy to find on the last page of every issue.”

Johnson has won multiple awards for publications excellence, marketing communications, newsletter editing and technical writing. He has been active as a consultant and speaker on a variety of business and technological topics for the graphic and technical communications industries, and serves on a college business marketing and management advisory committee.

Awards in the annual international APEX competition for communications professionals are based on excellence in editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness.

A national leader in on-demand digital printing, Copresco specializes in fast turnaround of publications, books and manuals for clients in the general business, printing trade, technical and institutional fields. The company is headquartered in the Chicago area.
