Santa Ana, CA - This year at Graph Expo, Duplo USA will be showcasing its growing range of booklet systems along with its popular slitting/cutting/creasing, die cutting, UV coating, and perfect binding solutions and invites you to see it all in booth #1926.

Experience the new DBM-600 Bookletmaker running live with the new, high-speed DSF-6000 Sheet Feeder as well as the DSC-10/60i Collators. Also showing for the first time will be the highly anticipated 350R In-line Booklet System which integrates the DBM-350 Bookletmaker with the Ricoh Pro C9100/8100/7100 series of production printers. The Duplo booth will be filled with the latest in digital print finishing that visitors will not want to miss.

NEW! 600i Booklet System

Released in June, the 600i Booklet System will take center stage at Graph Expo. The 600i Booklet System is Duplo’s newest, flagship bookletmaking solution which integrates the DBM-600 Bookletmaker with the DSC-10/60i Suction Collator. With a production speed of up to 5,200 booklets per hour, the 600i produces professional saddle, side, or corner-stitched as well as letter landscape booklets.

NEW! DSF-6000 High-Speed Sheet Feeder

Showing for the first time will be the DSF-6000 High-Speed Sheet Feeder, configured with the DBM-600 Bookletmaker. Duplo’s newest sheet feeder processes pre-collated digital or offset documents at a rate of up to 600 sheets per minute and features the PC Controller software and enhanced paper separation as well as handles paper sizes up to 14” x 20.” The DSF-6000 connects to the DBM-600 Bookletmaker or iSaddle System and can feed letter landscape applications via the optional Cover Feeder. 

NEW! 350R In-line Booklet System

In partnership with Ricoh, Duplo introduces the 350R In-line Booklet System – a reliable bookletmaking solution that integrates the Duplo DBM-350/T Bookletmaker and Trimmer with the Ricoh Pro C9100/8100/7100 series of production printers. On exhibit at the Duplo booth, the 350R In-line Booklet System will be featured with the Slit/Cut/Crease and DSS-350 Square Spine modules along with the Ricoh Pro C7110. 

Other systems on display include the iSaddle System with the DKT-200 Two-Knife Trimmer, the 350i Digital Booklet System, the 150C Booklet System, and the 150Cr Booklet System.

SLITTER/CUTTER/CREASERS

NEW! DC-746 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser

The DC-746 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser is the ideal companion for digital printers with medium to high production jobs. The DC-746 offers new features including optional rotary tool and cross perforating modules, both with strike-perforating capabilities, for increased versatility and a job template library for common applications. The DC-746 also features a new waste conveyor that transports the waste into an external bin, making it easy to empty without stopping productivity. 

Graph Expo will be the first time that Duplo will exhibit the DC-646 with JDF workflow, on this occasion together with HP Direct2Finish, allowing print service providers (PSPs) to produce more pages with less effort each month. Direct2Finish enables automatic submission of accurate job definition format (JDF) instructions to the DC-646, reducing make-ready and turnaround time as well as reducing the chances of waste and human error. Together, the combination of Direct2Finish and the Duplo DC-646 helps PSPs improve overall site efficiency, press productivity and application versatility. The JDF job and queue management is built directly into the PC Controller, providing the flexibility to easily switch operation between on-line JDF workflow and jobs from any other source.

Also on the show floor will be the DC-616 PRO Slitter/Cutter/Creaser and the DC-646 and DC-445 Integrated Folding Systems. 

DIE CUTTER

UD-300 Die Cutter

See the UD-300 Die Cutter produce a variety of custom-shaped applications on demand such as bottle hangars, envelopes, and scalloped edge invitations. Designed for use with flexible dies, the UD-300 performs multiple cuts, slits, slit-scores, kiss cuts, perforations, and new window punches on a range of paper stock up to 14” x 20” at 3,000 sheets per hour. Compact in size and easy to use, the UD-300 provides a cost-efficient solution with fast die changeover and set up times.

UV COATERS

NEW! Ultra 200 Pro

Also on display will be the Ultra 200 Pro and Ultra 100 Pro UV Coaters. Simple to use and compact in size, the Ultra 200 Pro applies a high quality gloss or satin finish to a wide range of offset and digitally-printed applications, enhancing the richness of its colors while protecting them from scratches and scuffing. Ideal for short to medium runs, the Ultra 200 Pro accommodates a variety of paper sizes from 8.5” x 11” to 21” x 30” and stocks between 170-500gsm. 

PERFECT BINDERS

pfiBIND 2000 PUR

Showcasing in the perfect binding area will be the pfiBIND2000 PUR Perfect Binder. With a speed of up to 290 cycles per hour, the single-clamp pfiBIND2000 features a user-friendly color LCD touchscreen and a closed-tank patented Orbital PUR system.

The KB-4000 PUR, DPB-500, and DB-280 Perfect Binders will also be on display. The two-in-one KB-4000 PUR provides a perfect solution for short-run PUR perfect binding as it applies PUR melt to the spine for strong adhesive binding and EVA hot melt side glue for faster finishing.

A number of other products will be on the floor including the CC-330 and CC-228 Card Cutters, and the 660 Pro Hydraulic Cutter. Visitors looking for folding solutions will also have the opportunity to see the DF-1200 and DF-980 Tabletop Folders as well as the CF-375 Touchline and CP-375 DUO Touchline.
