TECHKON Unveils Latest SpectroJet

Press release from the issuing company

TECHKON, a leading manufacturer of color measuring instruments for the printing industry, unveils the new SpectroJet with latest LED technology, the first scan-spectrophotometer on the market able to scan up to a length of 2 meters with a speed of up to 40 cm/second applying the new measuring conditions M0 to M3 according to ISO 13655.

The instrument is equipped with a high resolution spectral sensor and an automatic switchable polarization filter. SpectroJet is a universal tool for automatic measurements and allows shorter pre- setting time of the printing press, less paper waste and higher print quality.

It can be used on large format printing as well as for test-chart evaluation. The evaluation of an ECI 2002 test chart is done within two minutes. Customized print control strips as often used in Flexo printing can be analyzed quickly.

Different software modules like print curve, colorimetric quality control, proof check and test chart analysis are included.

For use at the offset press the Windows software ExPresso gives an evaluation according to the ink zones of the machine and allows a quick adjustment of the density. All measured data are stored and documented, a quality certificate can be printed out. The flexibility and efficiency of the system will convince any user and the return of investment can be achieved within one year.

The new SpectroJet will be showcased first time to public during Label Expo show in Brussels from
Sep. 27th – Oct. 2nd, 2015 at the TECHKON stand 9A31.
