KPG Signs Austrian Distributor For Matchflow Composer Rip And Universal File Conversion Software

Press release from the issuing company

Düsseldorf, Germany - Stand 5D24: Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) has signed APC-Prepress as the Austrian distributor for the company's powerful RIP and universal file conversion software - MatchFlow Composer. APC-Prepress, based in Neunkirchen, is a specialist in workflow management products and Apple solutions. Comments business manager, Peter René Siwatz: "The distribution contract with KPG allows us to complete our workflow solutions offerings to our clients." Adds KPG European product manager of software solutions, Thierry Callot: "This agreement is another important addition to our European distribution strategy." MatchFlow Composer allows users to improve, automate and secure production workflows resulting in the elimination of bottlenecks and significant gains in time with no need to replace existing equipment. The new version 4.4, launched at drupa, is compatible with Mac OS X version 10.3 "Panther" and can now generate PDF, PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-3 with vectorised contours, resulting in smaller file size and faster processing of files by other applications and enabling easier trapping. It is also the simplest way to create a ROOM - Rip Once Output Many - production stream. Installed directly on standard G4 or G5 Macintosh computers, the system is cost effective, easy to install, use and maintain. The multipurpose prepress tool allows viewing, conversion and generation of secured print-ready files including New CT & LW, TIFF-IT, PDF/X-3 and 1-bit TIFF as well as other graphic art formats.
