PSI Engineering to Debut Color Laser Mail™ 7000 at GRAPH EXPO

PSI Engineering’s Color Laser Mail™ 7000 prints up to 70 Full Color personalized envelopes per minute.

Mississauga, ON – PSI Engineering will be attending GRAPH EXPO 15 & CPP EXPO with the Color Laser Mail™ 7000. Available in 4 & 5 color, this digital press envelope printer prints up to 70 Full Color personalized envelopes per minute in “one pass.” With on demand variable data/variable image printing, the Color Laser Mail™ 7000 prints opaque white or clear, adding depth, impact and style to prints, allowing white on dark colored media. It is ergonomically designed for comfort and safety and can be used as a multifunctional office color laser printer or high quality proofing printer. The straight-thru print path runs a wide variety of media without jamming.

While most imaging devices employ technologies that are 1 bpp (bits per pixel), the Color Laser Mail™ 7000 uses LED imaging technology delivering an optical resolution of 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi (dots per inch),” concludes Mr. Panunto.

PSI Engineering’s toner based printing system, the Color Laser Mail™ 7000 uses single pass color digital technology. The straight-thru print path runs media thickness up to 450 gsm and supports a wide variety of envelope sizes from 3” x 5” (7.6 x 12.7 cm) to 13” x 26” (33 x 66 cm). Other print media include tabloid extra 12” x 18” (30.5 x 45.7 cm), tabloid 10” x 17” (25.4 x 43.1 cm), legal, letter, executive, index cards and banners up to 13” x 52” (33 x 132 cm). Designed for short-run production, the Color Laser Mail™ 7000 holds up to 1,000 envelopes or 4,000 sheets of bond paper. Load and remove on-the-fly feeder/stacker can load and stack up to 1,000 pieces of material, and can feed difficult stock such as; card stock, postcards, glossy stock, labels and standard paper.
