Roland DG strengthens UK & European teams, confirming senior appointments

Press release from the issuing company

Clevedon, UK - Roland DG is delighted to announce a series of appointments and promotions within its UK and European teams, following Brett Newman’s recent promotion to the prestigious position of Managing Director of Roland DG’s UK branch in April this year.

Fresh from an FMCG marketing background and with extensive through the line marketing experience; Sarah Lyons will be heading up Roland DG UK’s new marketing team. With a passion for delivering innovative and creative marketing campaigns, from both a B2B and B2C perspective, Sarah will afford the company a contemporary view on the current market setting Roland DG head and shoulders above the rest.

Says Sarah Lyons, “I’m really pleased to be joining such a fantastic company in Roland DG – it is a company which holds a huge amount of prestige in its products and loyalty in its end users – they really define what customer service means – and this is reflected in their market leading status. We have some great plans for Roland DG in the year ahead and I’m looking forward to helping the business go from strength to strength.”

The appointment of Sarah Lyons comes on the back of Roland DG UK’s previous Head of Marketing, Gillian Montanaro’s promotion to a prominent role as Head of EMEA Marketing, involving the development of coordination and strategy Europe-wide. Bringing a wealth of experience alongside an encyclopedic knowledge of the Roland DG product line, Gillian is a natural fit for the newly created role.

Montanaro has joined ranks with Jerry Davies; previous Managing Director of Roland DG (UK) who was recently promoted to President of European Sales, as well as retaining his current position as Chairman of the European Sales Team. Having delivered record sales figures for Roland DG UK over the last decade, this latest move continues his rise through the ranks at Roland DG since he joined the company in 2000. Both Davies and Montanaro will continue to be based in Roland DG UK’s HQ in Clevedon.

These new appointments reflect the fantastic development of Roland DG as a global brand, and shows the level of determination for continued future growth.
