GTI Graphic Technology, Inc. to Feature Industry Leading Color Viewing Systems at Graph Expo 2015

Press release from the issuing company

Newburgh, NY - GTI Graphic Technology, Inc., has announced that it will be showcasing its industry leading color viewing solutions at GRAPH EXPO 2015, which will be held from September 13th to 16th at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. GTI will be located in booth # 435 during Graph Expo.

Robert McCurdy, GTI’s President states, “We are pleased to be exhibiting at Graph Expo and invite all attendees to our booth where they will be able to see first-hand how light affects color and the value of viewing color under standard lighting conditions.” Accurate color assessment and communication requires compliance with the ISO 3664:2009 standard, which defines tight tolerance viewing conditions for graphic arts and photographic applications. McCurdy adds, “If all stakeholders in the supply chain are evaluating color in the same conditions production costs can be reduced, faster customer approvals can be obtained, and fewer post production issues will occur.” During Graph Expo GTI will feature the following ISO 3664:2009 complaint viewing systems:

Soft View SOFV-1xiQ
The Soft View SOFV-1xiQ is a desktop soft proofing system that easily provides accurate color comparisons between hard copy prints and computer monitors. The SOFV-1xiQ includes a viewing station and the revolutionary wireless iQ sensor. The system enables superb lighting uniformity with a small desktop footprint that meets ISO 3664:2009 D50 light quality for superior color rendition. During Graph Expo GTI will demonstrate the SOFV-1xiQ in partnership with Remote Director, a supplier of soft proofing software, and EIZO, a manufacturer of professional high quality LCD monitors.

EVS Executive Viewing Station
The EVS family of color viewing stations boasts D5000 accuracy and consistency combined with sleek styling. EVS systems include asymmetrical luminaires, horizontal and vertical viewing positions, and a built-in print bar. Optional side walls are available for strict compliance to Industry standards. Four models are available with viewing areas ranging from 20” x 28” to 29” x 106.”

The VPI is a D50 viewing station designed for the visual inspection of large format prints. It provides ISO 3664:2009 compliant viewing conditions in a convenient vertical format. Available in three standard sizes with viewing areas ranging from 40" × 45" to 64" × 45".

MiniMatcher Series
The MiniMatcher series is ideal for the viewing of inks, coatings, consumer goods, packaging, and more. It is available in five standard models. The MM-1e and MM-2e provide three different light sources with UV or LED available as an option.  The MM-4e, MM-2448e, and MM-2460e include five unique light sources with a built-in daylight timer and an illuminated push button control.

PDV Professional Desktop Viewers
PDV viewers are designed for D50 controlled viewing of small format color prints. Utilizing GTI’s Graphiclite 100 color viewing lamps and the latest electronic ballasts, the PDV guarantees tight compliance to the ISO 3664:2009 standard. All models feature a hinged design for easy set-up, storage, and transport. Available options include side walls, dimming, dual luminaires, and a transparency viewer. Four models are offered with viewing areas ranging from 11” x 17” to 23” x 25”.

Color Rendition Demonstrator
The Color Rendition Demonstrator is a three-compartment viewer that demonstrates the color rendition of three varied light sources—fluorescent cool-white “store light”, 6500K fluorescent “daylight”, and incandescent “home light.” The Color Rendition Demonstrator allows you to easily educate your clients and vendors on how color is affected by different light sources.
