Colter & Peterson’s new Prism® paper cutter and Microcut® systems on tap for Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Paterson, NJ – Colter & Peterson, North America’s foremost authority and largest independent distributor of paper cutters and paper handling equipment, will introduce its newest paper cutter at Graph Expo. The Prism® P115 represents a new style machine and will be demonstrated in booth 3625 at the show in Chicago, which runs from Sept. 13-16 at McCormick Place.

The 45” Prism paper cutter is durable, affordable, easy to operate and very cost effective. Loaded with the latest automation and state-of-the-art electronics technology, this machine features a new slotless table and is equipped with a Microcut® 15” touch screen. Microcut is a computerized backgauge system with nearly 35,000 worldwide installations. It can improve productivity by as much as 50% and can be used with any brand paper cutter ranging in size from 20” to 150”.

The automated Microcut systems are also very popular since they cost a fraction of the purchase price of a new paper cutter. Each Microcut system memorizes the cutting sequences so the backgauge can automatically position itself to deliver precise cuts to within 1/64 of an inch.

Various Microcut control systems will be on display at Graph Expo. For example, Microcut PLUS WS offers time-saving benefits such as microcip® and microfacts® and allows programs to be uploaded from a network connection with a USB device using 3/4 files. No additional hardware or software is required.

Make plans now to visit the Colter & Peterson booth and see the new Prism P115 in action for yourself. For more information, visit www.papercutters.com.
