RadTech Holds Webinar on Sustainable Shipping Practices

Press release from the issuing company

On July 21 at 2:00 PM EDT, RadTech will be holding the webinar “Learn How Your Company Can Ship More Sustainably through SmartWay.” All manufacturers that transport goods can benefit from the presentations by Abby Swaine and George Frantz, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, who will explain how companies can ship in a more sustainable manner.

More than 3,000 shippers and carries have used the free SmartWay program (http://www.epa.gov/smartway) to help shrink their carbon footprints through improved transportation efficiencies. Webinar attendees will learn about the SmartWay program and how to become a partner and earn recognition for a “greener” transportation supply chain. Presenters will look under the hood at the tools a company can use to track fuel- and emissions-efficiency for the goods received and shipped. Participants will learn how to make transportation practices more sustainable and cost-effective. MIT’s supply chain program called SmartWay “the Gold Standard for freight carbon tools.” Join RadTech and U.S. EPA to find out how you can get some of this gold!

Recently, RadTech became a SmartWay Affiliate to help promote greener transportation options to its members. Don’t miss this opportunity to become more sustainable and save money!
