Tukaiz Invests in POP and POS Technology

Franklin Park, IL, January 6, 2009-Tukaiz, a leading provider of results-driven marketing communications services, announced today it is embarking on a capital improvement plan for its Franklin Park, IL campus. In order to meet the company's current growth and demand for point-of-purchase (POP) and point-of-sale (POS) offerings, Tukaiz has invested in three new additional wide format digital printers and one additional flatbed digital printer.  This new equipment will increase productivity while expanding print capabilities to produce wide format banners, posters, signage, and more. Additionally, Tukaiz is enlarging its facilities to accommodate the new equipment.

Technologies acquired include:

•    Two HP Designjet 10000s -Super wide, producing 104-inch applications, these digital printers allow for an increased application span to provide a variety of wide format print options to customers.  The speed of these printers coupled with their low running costs make digital technology a more cost effective option for POP and POS materials. 

Additionally, the printers provide a higher concentration of colorants in the inks to produce a wider selection of rich, saturated colors.

•    HP Scitex XL 1500-The HP Scitex XL 1500 printer produces wide format applications on almost any media of any format and size.  The printer can easily switch from four-, six-, or eight-color printing to provide both durable and vibrant color applications.  

•    HP Scitex FB6100-Producing vibrant POP displays with a print quality of up to 1200 x 800 dpi resolution, this digital printer prints on a range of wide-format, rigid, or flexible media.  In addition, its eight-color output offers a range of color options to produce high-quality imaging.  The HB Scitex FB6100 is capable of printing sizes up to 5' x 10' on thick material.
