Press release from the issuing company
CARNEYS POINT, New Jersey - Retailers, many of them in the fashion industry, use complex, high-end catalogs, magazines and folding cartons expertly printed by Boss Litho Inc. as a way to showcase their unique brands. To expand beyond its current packaging printing capabilities, the City of Industry, California-based company recently installed a RYOBI MHI V3000LX from RM Machinery Inc., the exclusive authorized distributor of 41-inch V3000 series presses.
The V3000LX is designed to offer print service providers a wider product line. The press features a maximum sheet size of 29 1/2 x 41 11/32 inches and top printing speed of 16,200 sheets per hour. It accommodates standard offset paper, packaging board and plastic substrates up to 0.040 inches. Boss Litho outfitted the six-color V3000LX with an aqueous tower coater, delivery extension and infrared dryer.
A major advantage of the press is the SimulChanger system, enabling fast, fully automated plate changing. SimulChanger simultaneously replaces old plates with fresh plates on every unit in one operation in a little more than a minute.
Launched in 2010 with the assets obtained from a floundering commercial printing business, Boss Litho is a G7® Master Printer certified operation highly regarded for faithful color reproduction, sharp photographs and precise detail. Customers for Boss Litho’s custom packaging, litho-laminated cartons, printed sleeves, retail boxes and point-of-purchase displays range from startups to Fortune 500 companies whose brands demand the very best. Services other than printing include graphic design, binding, finishing and fulfillment. An in-house photo studio offers comprehensive production services.
Boss Litho currently operates two 40-inch Mitsubishi presses (an eight-color 3000R perfector with dual UV coaters and a six-color 3000LX with aqueous coater), as well as a six-color, 40-inch perfector with aqueous coater from another press manufacturer. In the digital arena, Boss Litho operates dye sublimation printers.
