Press release from the issuing company

Higher quality and reduced waste were key drivers in press selection

St. Louis, Missouri - Repacorp, a manufacturer of custom, stock, promotional and RFID-enabled pressure sensitive labels and non-pressure sensitive tags, has selected a Mark Andy Performance Series P7 as the most recent flexo addition to its Ohio production facility.

“Repacorp invests in the latest label technology to help keep our distributors competitive,” comments Tony Heinl, President, Repacorp, Inc. “We were looking for a flexographic press that would provide higher print quality, but also reduce waste. We found that in the Mark Andy P7. The Performance Series’ auto registration eliminated a lot of our setup time and material waste that comes with color registration.”

The selected 8-color, 13 inch (330mm) web width Performance Series P7 features independent web pacing to facilitate superior web tension management, while the simple print station design helps guarantee consistency and accuracy. Combined, this results in excellent print precision and supports Repacorp’s mission to make quality the focal point of their business.

“Our customers are demanding higher quality, lower cost and friendlier environmental operations. The Mark Andy P7 gives us that quality while the fast set-ups and minimal waste allow us to be more productive, competitive and earth friendly,” states Heinl.

The P7 was installed 1Q 2015 and is running production across two shifts, five days per week. In addition to the Ohio facility, Repacorp also houses operations in Wisconsin and Arizona, offering a variety of printing options including flexo, wide format screen, and digital printing.
