Press release from the issuing company

Totalpost is appointed as a Supplier on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Postal Goods and Services Framework (RM1063) for Franking Machines and Mailroom Equipment.

Leading mailroom manufacturer and supplier Totalpost Services Plc, has successfully been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) - Postal Goods and Services Framework Agreement (RM1063) for Lot 5.

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office within the UK Government. CCS works with departments and organisations across the entire public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship, and improves the quality of service delivery by bringing together policy, advice, and direct buying. By doing this CCS aim to save the taxpayer money.

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS), ESPO and YPO, have collaborated during the procurement process, and worked with stakeholders across the public sector to provide customers with a quick, and easy route for buying postal goods and services. Totalpost is now able to supply the provision of postal goods and services under LOT 5; Franking Machines and Mailroom Equipment. This means Totalpost can sell or lease equipment and consumables, including; franking machines, folder inserters, letter openers, and address systems.

In securing the CCS framework Totalpost will significantly reduce time scales and costs in product delivery, due to the increased efficiency of the new procurement system. This framework agreement is fully compliant with the EU and UK procurement rules and regulations. Therefore Totalpost will help CCS deliver savings for the public sector and taxpayer, by aggregating spend to drive best value.

David Hymers, Managing Director of Totalpost says: “I am pleased that Totalpost has secured this agreement as it will offer our customers a faster and easier route for buying postal goods. We are excited to assist the government and public sector in meeting requirements for mail and postal services. As an independent supplier we work hard to foster consolidation and increase overall business savings and we look forward to using this framework to help more public sector organisations to do this.”
