Double celebration for Danyang Dare Printing

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

Press release from the issuing company

2015 started with a bang for Danyang Dare Printing Company, a well-known packaging printer in Jiangsu Province, Eastern China. Shortly after celebrating its 15th anniversary, Danyang Dare found something else to raise a glass to, a brand-new eight-color ROLAND 700 HiPrint equipped with inline coater plus UV configuration sheetfed offset press.

"These two happy events came one after another, which is really a good sign for us this year", said Mr. Sun Ye, the company‘s General Manager.

Established in January 2000, Danyang Dare Printing Company is not only a wholly owned subsidiary of the listed Dare Global Group (stock code 000910, Shenzhen Stock Exchange) but is also the key production unit for cigarette accessories of the China National Tobacco Corporation. Dare specializes in the research, development and production of medium and high-end packaging print products, providing a full range of packaging solutions to companies with well-known brand names. Because of its technical strength, leading technology and strong capability in research and development, Danyang Dare is able to integrate art, designs and new materials in its products.

True to the Dare Global Group’s spirit of "pursuing excellence and challenging the ultimate," Danyang Dare has made every effort to raise its standards. As far back as 2003, the company obtained ISO 14000 environmental management system certification and ISO 9000 quality management system certification. It has received numerous honours from home and abroad, such as Chinese Leading Packaging Enterprise, China's Top 200 Advanced Packaging Enterprise and Double Excellence Integrity Printing Enterprise. It has also been part of the Asian Print Awards and the Premier Print Awards.

Danyang Dare prints more than one million large cartons annually, and all of them of the highest quality. Excellent printing speed is required because of the shorter lead time. Outstanding and stable print quality and effects are also needed. These are achievable with the help of the ROLAND 700 HiPrint press.

Mr. Sun thanked Manroland Sheetfed for their renewed cooperation and expressed confidence that the new ROLAND 700 HiPrint will be beneficial both to his company and its customers.

"To become a leader in the Chinese packaging printing industry, we must have very stable print quality," said Mr Sun, who added that choosing the ROLAND 700 HiPrint was an easy decision to make.

"Firstly, Manroland Sheetfed, as the global leader in the packaging printing technology, enjoys a very good reputation for more than a century and has superior products. Secondly, the eight-color ROLAND 700 HiPrint is equipped with dual drive system, traditional gear drive plus longitudinal shaft drive system, which is ideal for the long press configuration. Thirdly, the genuine UV system provides us with the more stable and reliable quality assurance."

Mr. Sun also noted the diverse device configurations that this new press has, including the white ink tanks and the tank filtration systems, and the outdoor closed water circulation system. All of these can significantly enhance flexibility in the production process, according to Mr. Sun.

Mr. Kurt Herrmann, Managing Director of Manroland Greater China, thanked Danyang Dare for their trust in Manroland Sheetfed. “On behalf of Manroland Greater China, I would like to congratulate Danyang Dare Printing Company for its 15th anniversary, and wish the company another milestone in the Chinese packaging printing industry in the new year,” Hermann said.

“As the world's leading supplier of printing equipment and solutions, Manroland has always regarded Greater China as one of the most important markets globally. We are firmly committed to helping the Chinese printers to achieve their targets as quickly as possible and create a brighter future for the industry.''
