A Sign of the Times: Roland DG and Sabur Digital Ltd

Press release from the issuing company

Clevedon, UK - Roland DG has today confirmed it has built on its dealer relationship with Sabur Digital Ltd. The Barnsley-based digital textile and sublimation printing specialist is now adding to its Roland DG machine portfolio in the form of the VersaCAMM SP-i and VersaCAMM VS-i ranges of eco-solvent wide format printers, which form part of the highest-selling print & cut series in the world*.

Says Dean Sanger, Managing Director, Sabur Digital Ltd: “We have had a great relationship with Roland over many years. We started by promoting and selling a range of Roland machines for the sublimation market from the SOLJET PRO 4 XF-640 and VersaArt RE-640 to the more recent VersaExpress RF-640, and we added the Texart RT-640 dye sublimation printer to the portfolio at the start of this year.

“Now, with the addition of the VersaCAMM SP-i and VersaCAMM VS-i print and cut ranges to our portfolio, we have a comprehensive offering to take to market in the broader signage sector, an area we believe offers the company significant opportunities for growth.”

Mathew Drake, Business Manager Roland DG commented: “It’s a very exciting time for Sabur and at Roland we are very keen to play a role in helping them expand their business into new areas of the signage market. Sabur is well respected for its technical expertise and commitment to the highest levels of customer service in the digital textile sector and I have no doubt that they will continue this to apply the same ethic and service to their new customers across the wider signage industry through Sabur Digital Ltd.  We are looking forward to building on our very successful relationship to date and continuing to provide them with the best digital printing technology available.”

Continues Mr Sanger: “As dedicated specialists and champions of the sign industry, we believe the addition of Roland’s VersaCAMM eco-solvent print & cut range will really open up new revenue streams for both us and our customers. The Roland DG ethos is very much like our own – a real commitment to customers and partners, and a desire to push the boundaries of innovation to keep the industry moving forward.”

“As a business, we’ve grown exceptionally well over the past few years on the back of the textile industry gradually waking up to all the possibilities digital printing can offer. The expansion of our Roland machine portfolio to now incorporate the VersaCAMM range puts us in the perfect position to continue to expand the business into new, related sectors of the signage industry, which over time will help us to secure our position as one of the leading Roland DG dealers in the UK.”

To celebrate the expansion of the Roland DG product portfolio, Sabur have recently opened what Mr Sanger says is the largest Roland dealer showroom serving the north of the country “The 2000ft showroom is fully equipped with and dedicated to demonstrating all that the Roland DG machines have to offer our customers. It is just minutes from the M62, M1 and the A1, so it is very convenient for businesses from right across the north to come in, receive a free demonstration and discuss with us the huge range of applications possible using Roland machines,” concludes Mr Sanger.
