Olympia Welcomes Packaging Innovations & Luxury Packaging

Press release from the issuing company

Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging London 2015 returns for its six edition of the show, but its first appearance at the iconic London Olympia. The two-day event, which takes place on 16 & 17 September, enables visitors to discover the latest product innovations, improve shelf stand out, environmental impact and the luxury appeal of their packaging to keep their brand relevant in such a fast moving marketplace.

Show organiser, Easyfairs, has already confirmed that 150 exhibitors have signed up for 2015, with major names including Leo Luxe, Fleet Luxury, HH Deluxe Packaging, and Schur Star Systems all being quick to show their support for the most hotly anticipated event for branded, luxury and inspirational packaging in the UK.

Alison Church, UK Packaging Portfolio Event Director, comments: “We have experienced such a phenomenal growth since our launch back in 2010; in fact the show has doubled in size, which is unheard of in an industry like ours. Last year we attracted the likes of Johnson & Johnson, Hotel Chocolat, Tommy Hilfiger, Molton Brown, Harrods and Procter & Gamble, highlighting just how important the show has become to the packaging industry. We are thrilled to welcome more exhibitors than ever before, with many using the show as the destination to launch new products to the wider market. We are brimming with innovation and luxury, making it the only event this year worth attending. These are really exciting times; I personally cannot wait for the doors to open at our new venue.”

The 2015 show will focus on two key areas:

  • Packaging Innovations – The exclusive event for branded and inspirational packaging, which is the perfect place to network with new suppliers, source innovative products and gain the latest industry knowledge. There is no better place for packaging professionals, brand specialists and designers to meet, all under one roof.
  • Luxury Packaging – The UK’s only event for luxury brands to source the freshest innovation, products and ideas within luxury packaging. The event also provides opportunities to network with the industry’s brightest minds, who will be on hand to help give your packaging a WOW factor.

There will be plenty of show floor entertainment with the launch of three new features – The Live Design Challenge, The Great Innovation Debate and The Student Design Challenge, providing exhibitors and visitors with an exclusive programme of valuable and educational content. Visitors will also be able to get one-to-one personalised advice on any aspect of their packaging from expert professionals at the Packaging Consultancy Clinic.

The entertainment does not end there, with the show boasting an array of free-to-attend Learnshops, spanning the entire packaging market, delivered by a who’s who of international industry experts. Last year included experts from Marks & Spencer, Taylors of Harrogate, Urban Veda, Tesco, Unilever, Kimberly-Clark and Kingfisher Group, to name just a few.

Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging London will be showing off its new location, increased visitor numbers and more international exhibitors than ever before. However innovation remains at the heart of the show. Geoff Curtis, Managing Director at Stribbons Ltd, just one of the companies exhibiting at last year’s event, remarked: “What is great about Packaging Innovations is that it in itself continues to innovate every year to deliver new features, new topics, and new ways of delivering the audience that we as packaging suppliers need to grow our businesses. The success of the show in turn brings business to us, and therefore we see it as the key event to be at.”
