JETvarnish 3D UV Coating & iFOIL System Highlighted in Live Production Demonstrations

MELBOURNE, FL, USA – MGI Digital Graphic Technology and AGFA Graphics will host a public Digital Printing & Finishing “Open House” at AGFA’s City of Industry facility in Southern California from May 6^th-7^th. Journalists and print industry professionals are welcome to attend the free event.
 
Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about developments in graphic arts technology and new digital production techniques for special enhanced effects such as 3D spot UV coating & hot foil applications. Both the MGI JETvarnish 3D & iFOIL products will be running live production demos. AGFA staff members will provide educational direction on finishing output from both traditional offset and newer digital print environments.
 
Visual & texture-based solutions for specific industries – such as retail packaging – will be on display. Information on integrating digital finishing into commercial printing and in-plant operations will also be offered for guests and interested attendees.
