Baker Goodchild Produces New Infographics Showing How Print And New Technologies Can Work Together

Press release from the issuing company

Birmingham-based direct mail fulfilment and print management services provider-Baker Goodchild, has produced a series of new animated infographics videos, illustrating how printers and print management companies and marketing agencies can create the perfect printed mailshot, by combining the power of direct mail with new technology to create the ideal, bespoke mailing document.

The direct mail fulfilment company is known for being at the forefront of technology developments in the use of direct mail, and hopes that by illustrating how new technologies, such as the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and QR codes, personalised URLs and Google AdWords within a printed marketing campaign or mailshot, can all help to improve the delivery and impact of the printed material and message therein.

Other items such as NFCs (Near Field Codes) and USB web keys when embedded into a campaign can also be used to give the direct mail campaign or mailshot that definitive edge. This can create an improved interaction with customers, adding a wow factor and encouraging recipients to engage with through the delivered message(s).

Baker Goodchild hopes that through the use of the new infographics videos it can show how easy and simple it can be to integrate any or all of these technologies into a campaign’s material. This in turn will then help printers and print management companies realise that the use of technology within print can help a mailshot or campaign to stand out from the pack, and make it a campaign to be remembered, and hopefully reach and impact upon more customers.

So whether it is a flyer, postcard, document or brochure, by using new technology within the printed matter Baker Goodchild believes print and technology work hand in hand to deliver improved, impacting results.

The integration of new technologies can also be used to monitor results of a campaign more closely, making real time monitoring possible, and creating improved response rates and return on investment.

Commenting on the new animated technology infographics, Baker Goodchild Managing Director, Lorraine Burnell, stated, “We (Baker Goodchild) believe that by showing through our new infographics, how easy and simple it can be to create a more effective, enhanced, direct mail campaign, will help to generate more leads for our clients, and help their campaign and message create more of an impact when it lands in a customer’s hands.”

Baker Goodchild currently provides print, fulfilment and postage services for a variety of national and international clients, mailing both across the UK and overseas.

Being an independent specialist provider of bulk mail fulfilment and postal services, Baker Goodchild has invested in specialist bespoke mailing solutions and software, which enable them to be at the forefront of using new technologies within print for direct mail marketing campaigns.
