Press release from the issuing company

Brussels, Belgium – International Paper, the world’s largest paper and packaging company, has announced its intent to add another distributor for its leading flagship paper brand HP Everyday Papers in the UK market. The HP Everyday Papers range is currently stocked and distributed in the UK by paper merchant Antalis, and had also been available through merchant PaperlinX.

Commenting on the news, International Paper’s Country Manager for the UK and Ireland, Antony Mackie, stated, “We are committed to continue investing in the HP Everyday Papers brand. HP Everyday Papers is successful, and we are maintaining our commercial focus on the range. We want to reassure the market that HP Everyday Papers will continue to be supplied and marketed through a variety of channels. Currently it is stocked and distributed with our full support via our partner Antalis, and we intend to add another distributor, providing the market with the necessary choice and supply coverage to support the brand’s customer base in the short term, and ensuring supply into the future, as we continue to innovate and develop the programme.”

Antony added, “International Paper will continue to work with our HP partners and their customers, ensuring that the HP Everyday Papers range continues to add value to their paper categories. The range and brand has always provided assurances of quality, innovation and performance. The brands selling proposition, together with its marketing and sales support programme, provides a clear point of differentiation, and allows clients to up-sell into higher value and more quality related application areas, moving away from 100% reliance on commodity based paper sales. We have a product for all applications, channels and budgets, and will continue to innovate in these areas.”
