STAMFORD, Conn. - Pitney Bowes Inc., a global technology company that provides innovative products and solutions to power commerce, today announced that Bill Steenburgh has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Global Services, Small and Medium Business (SMB) and Enterprise Solutions. Bill Steenburgh will report to Mark Shearer, Executive Vice President and President, Pitney Bowes Global SMB Solutions and Lila Snyder, President, Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies.

Pitney Bowes Global Services provides services and support to more than 1.5 million shipping and mailing clients covering a product portfolio that includes everything from mail meters, to data management software, to multi-million dollar production print solutions.

Bill Steenburgh joins Pitney Bowes from RTM Consulting, where he served as managing partner since 2013 and worked closely with the Pitney Bowes services team in 2014. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Xerox as Senior Vice President of Xerox Services, a $5 billion business providing technical, managed and professional services.

“Bill’s extensive experience and approach to client services has made him a recognized name in his field. His leadership will drive a transformation that will make Pitney Bowes Global Services more proactive, more accessible, and more client-focused than ever before,” said Mark Shearer.

“Providing world class service and support requires a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses, as well as the expertise to seamlessly integrate our solutions into existing physical and digital infrastructures,” said Lila Snyder. “Our clients are looking for our counsel and our leadership to help them achieve the full value of the Pitney Bowes solutions they have purchased. Bill is uniquely qualified to meet this challenge and deliver greater value for our clients and shareholders.”

Bill Steenburgh, who holds a B.S. from Union College and an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, welcomed the opportunity. “This is an exciting time to join Pitney Bowes,” he said. “The leadership team, transformation strategy and global rebranding have positioned the company to have a future even brighter than its storied past.”
