Press release from the issuing company

A high-speed, industrial inkjet printer for edible ink applications.

Danvers, MA. USAInkcups Now Corporation introduces the X2 EdiJET. The X2 is an industrial, high-speed flatbed inkjet printer now retrofitted with an edible ink delivery system. Supporting uni- or bi-directional CMYK printing, the X2 EdiJET edible inkjet printer is the perfect choice for single or multi-color prints on any flat edible products. Ideal for cookies, cakes, fondant, sugar paper and any other small flat treats!

The X2 EdiJET also features a print area of 20” x 24” (500mm x 600mm), handle parts up to 6” tall and can print an entire bed of parts in about 4 minutes. The X2 EdiJET has 4 vibrant edible inks in cyan, magenta, yellow and black. The X2 EdiJET does not have a white ink, therefore printing on dark objects may pose a challenge. Inkcups Now can provide custom fixtures for any parts.

Finally, an inkjet system I can sink my teeth into ;-). In all seriousness, this is an amazing example of the evolution of Inkjet and how it has become a fixture in our lives.
