Peecho raises funding to enhance its publisher proposition

Press release from the issuing company

Dutch cloud print start-up Peecho raised €700,000 in funding from strategic partner Printforce and existing investors Peak Capital and Sumis Company. The investment will be used to further improve their service and expand their print network.

Peecho is a platform for converting digital content into physical products, leveraging a global network of professional print facilities that produce luxurious prints on demand. The platform offers a print API and several intuitive integration tools. Peecho is mostly known for their print button: a simple means to sell your own digital publications as printed products - like magazines and hardcover books.

Since its launch in 2010, Peecho’s service attracted over 5000 websites, including large publisher platforms, museums, art galleries and many magazine publishers. Recent strong growth coming from the audience of self-publishers made the company decide to start focusing on this particular audience even more. To accelerate these developments, a funding round was arranged.

The Dutch venture capital firms Peak Capital and Sumis Company were joined by Printforce in this round of funding. It will be used to allow the company to work on an integrated solution for publishers and expand their print network to support it.
