Call for Entries, 2015 Printing Industries of America Individual Award Opportunities

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Printing Industries of America seeks to award outstanding individuals for their service and contributions to the print and graphic arts industry—for a woman who makes outstanding contributions, or for someone who’s devoted a lifetime to their career.

2015 Award opportunities:

Naomi Berber Memorial Award
Highlighting the many talented women of our industry, this award showcases a female leader’s noteworthy achievements throughout her career in printing and graphic arts. Berber Award recipients join more than thirty years of outstanding women from the graphic communications industry, such as Laura Lawton-Forsyth, Diane Romano, Sue Baylin, Laura Gale, and Betty Maul. An engraved plaque is presented to the recipient to commemorate her accomplishments.

Lewis Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award
Do you know a leader who has made major contributions throughout their lifetime? If they have played an integral part in shaping the printed communications industry, they deserve this extraordinary honor. The Lewis Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award is recognized throughout the graphic arts industry as the highest honor awarded to any individual in our business. Nominating an individual provides an unparalleled opportunity to honor someone you believe has made a major, long-term contribution to the industry.

The Naomi Berber Memorial Award and The Lewis Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented at the Printing Industries of America Fall Administrative meetings, November 13–15 in Pittsburgh, PA. This forum hosts an impressive audience of industry leaders, including boards of directors and committee members from Printing Industries of America, its Ben Franklin Honor Society, and the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF).

The deadline to enter a nomination for the 2015 Naomi Berber Memorial Award or the Lewis Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award is June 26, 2015.
