Growth rates of Fastest 50 eclipsed all other trade shows last year

Fairfax, Virginia - Trade Show Executive (TSE) Media Group, an award-winning media firm that publishes the number one magazine serving the trade show industry, has announced the 2014 TSE Fastest 50 list, which recognizes the fastest growing trade shows in the US — including the SGIA Expo. 

“The Fastest 50 Awards & Summit is not only a tribute to the sizzling numbers these show organizers produced but also spotlights their ingenuity and skill in thriving during unprecedented growth spurts,” said Darlene Gudea, TSE President. 

The SGIA Expo was honored for its staggering growth in attendance and net square feet of paid exhibit space, two of three categories of the Fastest 50 (the third being the number of exhibitors). According to TSE, the growth of net square feet and attendance averaged 2.6 percent and 1.3 percent, respectively. The net square feet of the 2014 SGIA Expo grew more than 11 percent over the previous year, while the attendance grew a whopping 14 percent. 

This year, specialty imaging — and the upcoming 2015 SGIA Expo (Atlanta, November 4–6) — show no signs of slowing down. The trade show floor, where the industry’s leading professionals will exhibit their top products and innovative applications, is already 95 percent sold out.
