Canon Canada Unveils Poster Designer Plus

Friday, March 20, 2015

Press release from the issuing company

Mississauga, ON - Canon Canada will unveil its latest innovation — the Canon Poster Designer Plus at the 2015 Graphics Canada trade show, which takes place between April 16 and18 at the International Centre in Mississauga.

The Canon Poster Designer Plus is a welcome addition to the imagePROGRAF product offering.  Poster Designer Plus is a cost-effective yet powerful web-to-print plug in software that adds a large format poster design engine, shopping cart and checkout functionality to any existing website.

“The print industry is moving print ordering online to reduce costs and speed up timelines,” said Peter Dulis, Manager, Large Format Printers for Canon Canada.  “The Canon Poster Designer Plus is the perfect tool for any company or entrepreneur looking to create efficiencies when producing poster designs.”

According to InfoTrends, the online print business will double to $70 billion in online transactions by 2017.

Designed for easy and fast integration, the Canon Poster Designer Plus has a cloud-hosted printing storefront.  This gives print service providers the tools they need to take advantage of the trend towards online ordering for this growing category of printed products.

Visit Canon Canada’s Booth in Hall One at 2015 Graphics Canada Show and join Canon Canada at the Graphics Canada Innovation Theatre at 12 p.m. on April 16, 17 and 18 as Canon Canada representatives along with guest speaker Slava Apel, a renowned industry web-to-print expert discusses one of the most important and evolving new revenue streams for printers today.
