Nordis Direct Takes its Production Workloads to New Heights with Canon Solutions America

Press release from the issuing company

Business communications leader expands its fleet with Canon Solutions America

MELVILLE, N.Y. – Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that Nordis Direct, a Florida-based business communications and direct mail provider, recently expanded its fleet of high speed, high volume cutsheet printers with its third acquisition of an Océ VarioPrint 6320 printing system. This purchase marks the 100th VarioPrint 6000+ Series model sold by the Enterprise Services and Solutions division of Canon Solutions America.

Supporting customers through its leading-edge proprietary software, Expresso, Nordis Direct continues to help push the evolution of business communications services. To maintain an increasingly high level of productivity, its flagship location in Coral Springs, Florida, now produces materials using two of the Océ VarioPrint 6320 printers. The company recently opened a new 16,000-square-foot production facility in Las Vegas, Nevada that utilizes the services of its third Océ device.

“It’s no secret why our company recently purchased a third device from Canon Solutions America,” said Ronnie Selinger, CEO of Nordis Direct. “The people are a delight to work with, the service is unquestionably reliable, and the technology is second to none.”

To further meet the demands of its growing customer base, Nordis Direct understood the need to enhance its customized lettershop and communications services. Looking for an efficient and cost-effective product, the company turned to Canon Solutions America who added the Océ VarioPrint 6000+ series of printers into Nordis Direct's fleet. Canon Solutions America also provided enhancements that effectively reduced costs in the company's Transactional Printing environment, among others.

“We wanted to help the Nordis Direct team take their already booming business to new levels with our support and services,” said Tracie Sokol, vice president, Marketing, Enterprise Services and Solutions, Canon Solutions America. “From day one, we truly valued the relationship with Nordis Direct and we continue to look for ways to further expand their organization’s output.”

According to Selinger, the products alone were not the only reason for working with Canon Solutions America. His staff wanted knowledgeable field technicians that could provide dedicated support. “You don’t always find consistency in service technicians,” said Selinger. “We are extremely happy with the support we have received in both locations. The Canon Solutions America employees we work with are in line with the top of the industry.”

Sokol added that Canon Solutions America looks forward to continued opportunities with Nordis Direct. “Both now and in the future we are always committed to helping our customers meet the growing demands of the industry,” said Sokol. “Our relationship with Nordis Direct is a great example of two companies working together to properly serve our customers.”
