Colour management solutions specialist, Nth Degree Imaging becomes the latest dealer to join Roland DG’s network

Press release from the issuing company

Clevedon, UK - Roland DG announced today that colour management, packaging, proofing and design solutions specialist, Nth Degree Imaging, has officially joined its network of UK Authorised Dealers.

Says Mat Drake, Business Manager Commercial Print, Roland DG: “Nth Degree Imaging is a great new partner and dealer for Roland and we’re very pleased to welcome them into the Roland family. In line with Roland DG dealer appointments announced over the last few months, Nth Degree Imaging is also a true specialist in its field and will help us to elevate awareness of our brand and our products across a range of sectors we consider key to our growth over the coming years.”

The appointment, officially confirmed at the beginning of February, will see Nth Degree Imaging initially focus on selling Roland’s UV range of printers - from the VersaUV LEC Printer/Cutter series to the VersaUV LEJ and LEF ranges. This will expand over time to include Roland’s full portfolio of print & cut and print only machines.

As the world’s first UV inkjet printer/cutters, Roland’s award-winning  VersaUV LEC printer/cutters provide design agencies, packaging companies, repro houses, printers and brand owners in the packaging and label markets a new solution for packaging prototypes/proofs and short-run production of labels. You can now print CMYK plus white and clear inks for varnishing and embossing effects on virtually any substrate and then crease and contour kiss-cut your designs, all on one device. The result is colour-accurate prototypes/proofs that are virtually indistinguishable from the finished product.

Says Phil Dowson, Nth Degree Managing Director:  “We recognise that having sold a customer a Roland inkjet printer, the relationship should not end there. Unlike many traditional hardware re-sellers we can also offer a full range of media, consumables, colour management tools and workflow software – all backed up by industry leading service and technical support. We see this as an ongoing partnership with our customers and as a result, we are always available for advice and help, free of charge, to help ensure the customer’s printer is running at optimum levels of performance.”

Concludes Mr Drake: “Nth Degree Imaging offers a truly comprehensive service to its customers, consulting all along the way, like we do here at Roland DG. This is backed by a team of expert engineers with technical knowledge to integrate systems into any workflow to ensure their customers can continually maximise their investment and productivity.  We look forward to working closely together with Nth Degree Imaging over the coming months, the start of what we believe will be a hugely mutually beneficial relationship, with the customer the ultimate benefactor.”
