Warren, the UK’s leading independent carton & graphical board and paper stockist, has announced that it is now providing customers with a tailor-made, reel-to-sheet service for Accurate™ Freeze, the high quality folding boxboard (GC2) grade from Mayr-Melnhof. 

As the exclusive UK stockist and distributor for Accurate™ Freeze and thanks to Warren’s own, in-house converting facility in West Bromwich, its customers will now be able to have a tailor-made service for all their folding boxboard requirements. Bespoke orders will be available for nationwide delivery within five working days. 

This service will eliminate the requirement for any additional processes for the customers and with orders being cut to their ideal specifications; they will not have to make do with a ‘best fit’ option, thereby reducing both their waste and the impact upon the environment.

Accurate™ Freeze is a fully coated, hard-sized, high yield GC2 grade, with an off-white back finish and is produced by Mayr-Melnhof Eerbeek. This leading mill is situated in the Netherlands and so guarantees a consistent and environmentally friendly supply to customers in the UK.

Accurate™ Freeze is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including; frozen/chilled foods, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, confectionery and chocolate. With excellent smoothness and high brightness, Accurate™ Freeze has a brilliant gloss finish, and is also suitable for all types of printing, varnish and lamination requirements.

Warren will have Accurate™ Freeze available in a wide range of reel widths, from 400/245, 460/275 and 490/290, supported by a full range of sheet stock from 370/230 to 725/400. 

To underline its environmental qualities, Accurate™ Freeze is both Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification™ (PEFC™) certified.

Warren has demonstrated the qualities of Accurate™ Freeze with a litho printed promotion, comprising a gloss laminated outer sleeve and a slide-out inner, both printed on 400 Micron/245gsm Accurate™ Freeze. The promotion was printed on a Komori Lithrone 28 five-colour press, using a four-colour process. It was die-cut on a Heidelberg cylinder and hand taped.
