Nazdar to Debut Three New Inks at Sign & Digital UK 2015

Press release from the issuing company

Stockport, UK - Nazdar Ink Technologies, the manufacturer of one of the most comprehensive selections of UV, water-based and solvent-based wide-format digital inkjet, screen-printing and flexographic inks, has announced that three new inks will be making their European debut at this year’s Sign & Digital UK event.

The three new inks include Nazdar’s new 153 Series inks for Mimaki printers and two new Nazdar UV inks branded the Nazdar 720 Series and the Nazdar 260 Series.  Nazdar will be represented at the event by its main UK distributor, wide format print specialist Quality Print Services (QPS) Ltd., on stand D2.

Visitors to the stand will be able to discuss the benefits of Nazdar’s full range of compatible inks for leading wide format printers from Mutoh, Roland and Mimaki, including the new Roland Pro 4 and Mimaki JV300 ranges.

Nazdar 153 Series

The Nazdar 153 Series inks have been specifically designed for use in Mimaki JV3, JV5, CJV and JV33 printers using ES3 inks and offer exceptional compatibility, quality and cost effectiveness, combined with a seamless ‘plug and play’ conversion process.  Changing from OEM to Nazdar inks is very straightforward and involves simply swapping out the OEM cartridges with Nazdar ink as they run out. No profile changes are required as Nazdar wide format inks are an exact colour and performance match to the OEM inks.

This exciting addition to Nazdar's range of market-leading inkjet inks enables users to avoid flushing and re-profiling, saving both time and money.  Users simply need to insert a Nazdar 153 Series cartridge into their printer when the Mimaki ES3 ink runs out and enjoy uninterrupted printing and fantastic savings.

Nazdar 720 Series

Nazdar 720 Series UV Inkjet ink is engineered with low-odour ingredients while maintaining the ultimate in adhesion characteristics.  It is very flexible which makes it perfect for point of purchase applications such as pressure sensitive vinyl, banners, and window clings.

Due to its resistance to edge chipping, the 720 Series ink also performs very well on rigid materials that require router or die cutting.  It offers outstanding adhesion to acrylic materials of all grades and qualities.

Packaged for use in a wide variety of printer models, the 720 Series ink is available in the standard 6-colour set and also includes white and clear, and an extended colour set that features orange, green, and violet.

Nazdar 260 Series

Nazdar 260 Series UV Inkjet ink is designed for plug-and-play compatibility with the Roland® EcoUV® ink set and is offered in 220 ml cartridges that include the basic 4 process colours as well as a clear and white.

Nazdar 260 Series is also offered in 1 litre containers for printer models that use non-heated print heads and require a UV ink that operates at normal conditioned room temperatures. The 1 litre packaging also includes light cyan and light magenta. The 260 Series inks are designed to be cured with a 395 nanometre LED lamp system.

Martin Burns, Global Market Segment Manager - Digital Solvent and Aqueous at Nazdar Ink Technologies, comments: "The addition of the 153 Series – in conjunction with the suitability of our 133 Series for the JV33, CJV and JV300 – puts the Nazdar ink offering in the strongest of positions from which to serve the wide format market.

“Nazdar can now offer better value ink options for all the major solvent inkjet printers, increasing the competitiveness and profitability of our users.  Not only are these users buying better value inks from a prestigious UK manufacturer, they also have the back up and support of the strongest ink warranty in the market."

Rich Dunklee, Global Market Segment Manager - UV Inkjet at Nazdar Ink Technologies, adds: “The two new Nazdar UV products offer different but important advantages for the user.  The 260 series is about giving convenience, ease of use and maximum savings when installed in Roland EcoUV printers and has excellent characteristics for use on a wider range of platforms.

“The 720 series however is very much geared towards providing enhanced print features such as colour, adhesion, flexibility and chip resistance.  We see the 720 as an ink upgrade for a wide range of UV printers including HP, Durst and Agfa.”

QPS’s Chris Bailey concludes: “As the main UK distributor for Nazdar we are pleased to be back at Sign UK this year showing the entire range of Nazdar digital inks. For more information on Nazdar aqueous, dye sublimation, wide format solvent, UV curing inks and grand format solvent, please visit us on our stand D2 for a chat.”
