Presstek Bolsters Sales Management Team to Champion New Sales Initiatives

Hudson, NH USA – Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, announces the continued growth of its sales organizations with the appointment of three highly regarded printing industry veterans to lead CTP printing plate and DI press sales in the Western US, United Kingdom and EAMER regions.  

Giampaolo Zani – Sales Manager, Plate Products, EAMER Region: Mr. Zani is responsible for leading the market launch and sales growth of the Zahara waterless plate in the EAMER region. Giampaolo brings 20 years of industry experience to Presstek having represented major manufacturers such as Canon, Agfa and Lastra.

John Piccarreto – Sales Manager, Plate Products, Western US Region: With over 20 years industry sales and business development experience from companies such as xpedx and Kodak, John Piccarreto will be responsible for expanding Presstek’s sales growth for the Zahara waterless plate product and overseeing relationships with dealers across the entire western half of the United States and Canada.

Simon Cosh – Sales Manager, Digital Printing Systems, UK Region: Based out of the United Kingdom sales office, Mr. Cosh is responsible for expanding and leading Presstek DI digital offset press sales efforts across the UK and Western Europe through direct and distribution channels. Simon has over 25 years of capital equipment and consumables sales experience at well-known companies such as Fuji, Parmarco, and Dantex.

“We welcome Giampaolo, John, and Simon to the Presstek family,” states Ralph Jenkins, Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. “All three bring outstanding sales achievements and valuable expertise to their respective roles overseeing direct and channel sales. In particular, having Zani and Piccarreto on board positions Presstek for strong growth as it accelerates the commercial release of Zahara to the waterless CTP plate segment on a worldwide basis.” Engineered as a drop-in ready plate alternative, Zahara has been widely accepted among high profile users of sheetfed and narrow web waterless presses. 

Cosh, tasked with increasing acquisitions of new and Certified Pre-Owned DI presses within the UK and Western Europe, states “I am delighted to join Presstek at this opportune time because the company’s value proposition of ‘removing complexities from the print production chain’ clearly resonates with today’s print market.”  He continues, “CPO models are rapidly gaining popularity among commercial printers because of the low cost of ownership, fast turn-around and high print quality combination, and the impressive ‘new press’ warranty regardless of press age or impression count.”
