Cincinnati, Ohio - Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is pleased to announce the 100% acquisition of New Era Packaging (New Era) effective February 2nd, 2015.

New Era is based near Dublin, Ireland and specializes in labels for the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food industries with annual revenues of approx. €12m (USD14m).

This acquisition creates a greater focus on the growing healthcare label market.  New Era's Joint Managing Director John Peat and the management team will continue to run the business and operate from their current facility. 

MCC President and CEO Nigel Vinecombe stated, "We are excited to have John and team join us.  We supply the Healthcare label market in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Poland and see Europe as a large market we can develop, especially with the expertise from New Era."
