East Coast Printing Celebrates 15th Anniversary, Announces Approval as Massachusetts Small Business Vendor

Press release from the issuing company

HINGHAM, MA - East Coast Printing, Inc., a full-service, customer-oriented commercial print shop that is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, was recently approved as a Small Business Vendor for the state of Massachusetts.

As a result of this Small Business Vendor status, East Coast Printing qualifies as a participant in the bidding process for all divisions, agencies, and institutions of the state of Massachusetts.

East Coast Printing began as a small copy center in the heart of Weymouth, Massachusetts, in November 1999.  Recognizing their customers’ need for a one-stop print shop solution, East Coast Printing rapidly evolved into a full-service, customer-oriented commercial print shop.  The company became a member of the Boston Pressmen’s Union, Local 3 in 2005, which allowed the print shop to offer high-quality design, print and mail services to unions and politicians.

In 2014, East Coast Printing expanded their capabilities by moving to a 5,000+ square-foot facility in Hingham.  The company added lawn signs, banners, bumper stickers, embossing, and die-cutting to their offerings.

In addition to its status as an approved Small Business Vendor for the state of Massachusetts, East Coast Printing is also affiliated with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, the South Shore Women’s Business Network, the South Shore Hospital President’s Circle, and the Scituate Chamber of Commerce.

Lou Silva, president of East Coast Printing, said, “We are excited to have earned this small business designation from the state, and appreciate the confidence and trust this approval demonstrates.

“It’s a great way to start our 15th year,” he added.
