Italian printer Litopat returns to Manroland Sheetfed after two decades

Press release from the issuing company

Twenty years since their last successful collaboration, this month renowned Italian printer Litopat S.p.A. has turned to Manroland Sheetfed again by installing a 7B size ROLAND 900 with an inline coating configuration.

Litopat, owned by the Biondani family since 1965, already has three ROLAND 800 presses running in their busy facility in Verona, northern Italy. As a publishing and commercial printer, Litopat has been successful at turning their customers' creative ideas into reality.

Litopat uses premium materials and cutting-edge printing technologies to reproduce colors and images of outstanding quality. Every detail of each print job is carefully handled through the various stages of the printing process; Litopat believes meticulous attention to detail can make a big difference providing customers with innovative and winning solutions.

Litopat has been using stochastic halftone in order to ensure a more detailed and softer image similar to a photograph's. The newly purchased five color ROLAND 900 HiPrint enables them to continue using the stochastic screen - just one of the reasons why they chose Manroland again. Thanks to the inline coating unit and cost effective sheet enhancement they can offer a wider range of products to print buyers.

When this new press is installed, Litopat will further shorten the production and lead time, thus enabling them to better meet their customers’ unscheduled requests. Apart from high productivity and lower production cost, the ROLAND 900 has premium print quality and flexibility - exactly what is needed by printers like Litopat who pay extra attention to quality and detail.

The precise register on the ROLAND 900 ensures consistently excellent print quality, and the flexibility in the substrates makes it stand out among similar presses on the market. From the thinnest paper to the thickest carton, all substrates can be printed on smoothly and in high quality, thanks to the relatively flat sheet travel path. This allows Litopat to provide more innovative solutions to their customers and thus enhance their status and overall competitiveness.

In the constant search for high quality print and technological advancement, Litopat S. p. A., is looking forward to the arrival of the new ROLAND 900 HiPrint.
