GMG appoints Marcelo Escobar to its technical support team in Brazil

Hingham, MA – GMG, the leading developer and supplier of high-end color management software solutions, announces that it has appointed Marcelo Escobar to its 

Escobar has more than 25 years' technical experience in graphic arts and printing. He comes to GMG from Welogiq, a technical support and consulting company for the printing industry, where he was Chief Executive Officer. The company offered technical and marketing services for foreign companies and their respective resellers in Brazil. This included servicing Brazilian printing companies and converters, including the consulting and color management implementation of the ISO standard 12647, and working with GMG products.

Escobar has also been Technical Director for a Brazilian distributor of graphic arts equipment and supplies, and has held technology roles at Bureau Bandeirante and Scritta Editorial. He was educated at the Senai Theobaldo de Nigris, where he graduated in Graphic Technology focusing as a technician in graphic arts. He has also been a GMG Certified Installer with expertise in the training, installation and support of GMG color management systems since 2005.
