Akron, OH - Northeast Ohio Craftsmen Club held its 2015 Ben Franklin Ball & Gallery of Superb Printing Gallery Awards Ceremony, Saturday January 17, 2015, The event was held at The Fieldcrest Estates, North Canton, Ohio. With 77 guests attending dinner & awards ceremony, the awards included AGS CUSTOM GRAPHICS, Twinsburg, OH winning 9 Gold, 9 Silver & 4 Bronze; HUDSON PRINTING COMPANY, Macedonia, OH winning 2 Gold, 2 Silver & 4 Bronze; MINX DESIGN, Akron, OH winning 1 Silver & 1 Bronze; PORATH PRINT SOURCE, Cleveland, OH, winning 1 Bronze; ROHRER CORPORATION, Wadsworth, OH, winning 1 Gold; SP MOUNT PRINTING, Cleveland, OH – winning 1 Bronze. Best of Show in the Printing category was awarded to AGS CUSTOM GRAPHICS, Twinsburg, OH, along with Honorable Mention. All Gold or Judges Gallery winners will be submitted to The International Gallery of Excellence by the Northeast Ohio Craftsmen Club on the winner’s behalf, to compete in its Gallery of Superb Printing for possible international awards. Prior year’s International winners were AGS CUSTOM GRAPHICS, Twinsburg, OH - with 3 Gold, 3 Silver & 2 Bronze. LUSCIOUS VERDE, Beechwood, OH – with 1 Gold. The Northeast Ohio Craftsmen Club Board of Governors & Membership congratulates all the companies that entered this year’s competition Gallery of Superb Printing Gallery along with those that won awards. The Highest Personal Professional Award given to an individual, The Graphic Arts Person of the Year was presented to Jon Keller for many years of service and growth in the Graphic Arts Industry. The Award of Merit was presented to A. Kay Dreslinski, for her outstanding service to the NEOCC over the past year.
